1. Purpose

  • At Nzwalo Investment (PTY) LTD t/a Lumacon Air Conditioning, we are committed to achieving excellent in safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) management. This policy outlines our commitment to creating a safe and healthy workplace, protecting the environment, and delivering high-quality products and services..

  • Services that we offer are as follows:

    1. Infrastructure engineering, development and maintenance
    2. Mechanical works, ii) electrical works, iii) general building and civil works
    3. ICT
    4. Facility management and
    5. Smart integrated

    2. Scope

  • This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders involved in our operation it covers all activities conducted by Nzwalo investments (pty) LTD t/a Air Conditioning and its subsidiaries.

    • 3. Safety and Health

    3.1. We are dedicated to:

  • Complying with all relevant safety and health legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Providing regular training and resources to ensure our employees are aware of and can effectively manage health and safety risks.
  • Promoting a culture of safety where every individual is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others.
  • Continuously improving our health and safety performance through regular audits, reviews, and the implementation of best practices.

    • 4.Environmental Protection

    4.1. We are committed to:
    • Complying with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations, standards.
    • Minimizing our environmental footprint through efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, emissions, and pollution.
    • Implementing sustainable practices and promoting environmental awareness among our employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
    • Continuously improving our environmental managemental management system to enhance our environmental performance.

    5.       Quality

    5.1. We are committed to:

    • Delivering products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with relevant quality standards.
    • Implementing and maintaining a quality management system (QMS) that ensures consistent quality in all our process and outputs.
    • Regularly reviewing and improving our QMS to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Ensuring all employees are trained and competent in their roles to maintain high-quality standards.
     
     

    6. Responsibilities

    • Management: provide leadership, resources, support to implement and maintain this SHEQ policy. ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

    • Employees: understand and adhere to the SHEQ policy and procedures. Actively participate in SHEQ training and initiatives. Report any SHEQ concerns or incidents promptly.

    • Contractors and stakeholders: comply with Nzalo Investment (PTY) LTD t/a Lumacon Air Conditioning’s SHEQ requirements and standards. Work collaboratively to achieve our SHEQ objectives.

    7. Continuous improvement

    7.1. We are committed to the continuous improvement of our SHEQ performance. This includes:

    • Setting and reviewing SHEQ objectives and targets regularly.
    • Monitoring and measuring SHEQ performance through audits, inspections, and reviews.
    • Implementing corrective and preventive actions to address any non-conformities or areas for improvement.
    • Encouraging feedback from employees, contractors, and stakeholders to enhance our SHEQ practices.

    8. Communication

    • This policy will be communicated to all employees, contractors and stakeholders. It will be available on our company website and displayed in prominent locations throughout our facilities.

    9. Review

  • This SHEQ policy will be reviewed after two [02] years and updated as necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective in achieving our SHEQ objectives.

    • 9. Approval

  • This SHEQ policy is approved by the Nzwalo Investments (PTY) LTD t/a Lumacon Air Conditioning Chief Officer and Executive Officer and Executive as of 19th January 2024.
